122101 Arrests to come following Pound Ridge park brawl
involving Fox Lane students.

A brawl in the Town Ridge Town Park involving 30 to 50 teenagers took place Saturday night, Dec, 15, Police responded to a 911 call at 9:30 p.m.
According to Pound Ridge police, two groups of youths met up in the park and a large altercation ensued, resulting in injuries to several of those in attendance. When police responded, first aid was given to those who required medical attention. Police declined at this point to give more specific information in terms of the nature of the incident
or the injuries.
Police recovered several bats and sticks from the scene as well as a large knife.
Many of the youths who were not from the Pound Ridge area fled on foot through the woods to cars parked in the park or on other side
streets adjoining the park property.
Pound Ridge police arc coordinating their efforts with the Westchester County District Attorney's office and other local police departments.
According to Chief Dave Ryan the Pound Ridge police have numerous leads and expect to make several arrests.
"The investigation is progressing very well Chief Ryan "We have some very detailed and
specific information,"
The investigation is somewhat complicated due to the number Of interviews and
the number of people involved.
"Our biggest fear is there will be some sort of retaliation this weekend so we will have extra cars on duty Chief Ryan
said. "We have notified local PDs and I think they will pay closer attention."
